The community run Khwai Concession is located in the heart of the Botswana wilderness, to the north of Moremi Game Reserve and to the south of Chobe National Park, and serves as a perfect stop over when traveling between the two national reserves.

This amazing safari destination, with elephants wandering through the campsites and high concentrations of game, is a wildlife and birding haven. 

We chose Mbudi Camp for our 4 nights in the area. Located on the banks of the Mbudi River which fringes on Khwai, these campsites are a welcoming respite for any adventurer. Age old Leadwood trees provide a canopy of shade and fully serviced ablutions add a little comfort. We stayed in Camp #5 which is the nearest to the ablutions. All sites are very private and spaced far apart.
